The oil price has dropped by 10% from the 1st of March 2015 to the 23rd of March 2015.
Crude oil cost us R3,64 per litre on the 1st of March and now R3,30 on the 23rd of March
The fuel price on the 4th of March 2015 for 93 at Reef was R11,04 @ R3,64 per litre for crude oil
On the 9th of Feb 2015 the fuel price for 93 at Reef was R10,09 @ R3,05 per litre for crude oil
In April 2014 the fuel price was R14,38, BUT the crude oil was R5,76 per litre
In June 2013 the fuel price was R12,16 and crude oil was R5,27 per litre
How can government justify the R1,62 price increase for April 2015 as the oil price is 60% cheaper than in June 2013?
